Lily Cole for Zoo Magazine

I think Lily Cole looks absolutely amazing in this shoot. Her freckles are just so beautiful it makes me want to have freckles myself. What a redhead beauty. I love this.

Crystal Castles.

When I was a little girl I saw that my uncle had those colored crystal stones in his house and that my grandpa had a green crystal stone in his ring and even crystal stones in on his necklace and bracelet. It wasn't that my grandpa and uncle were covered in crystals but there were some pieces of jewelry which had crystals in them around the house and I loved them. So finally on my 10th birthday my uncle got me a crystal stone, a pink one and i've kept it ever since.
But now I see that my precious crystals are back, or where they ever gone? I see a lot of jewelry designers using crystals for their lines and I have to admit that i'm feeling like the little girl from years ago because i'm totally smitten by all the crystal rings that i've seen so far!

Girls

I made this pink blazer and my little cousin and I we're bored so she tried it on and it looked so cute I just had to make some pictures. I always said there's a little model in there somewhere.

Photography Talent:Alison Scarpulla

I'm following Alison Scarpulla's work for a while now and i'm a big fan of it.
One of the reasons why I love her style of photography is because she uses film and no digital camera. With film u can capture much more intense moments then when u use a digital camera. Alison Scarpulla’s photogrpahy stands out because of her unique style, in her work you can see what she sees trough her eyes a complex portrait of a world that seems to exist parallel to our reality where carefree picnics on a perfect summer day could easily end up in a run in with the grim reaper... Her work is raw and inspired by the psychedelic, melancholic, mystic and carefree.

Zoo Magazine no. 27

Just bought the no. 27 issue of Zoo Magazine. I'll post some shoots tomorrow but I have to say I loveee this issue.

Musictime

Time for you guys to download some music. I hear everybody complaining how there's no good music these days and everything sounds the same and blablabla. Maybe you should dig deeper, look better and find more.

Nosaj Thing - Remixes (2010)

I saw Nosaj live this year in Paradiso Amsterdam. What an experience. He has a perfect way of mixing some familiar Hip- Hop and R&B songs with his own dreamy, electronic style. Everyone was feeling it and the drake remix was ON. This is a Nosaj Thing remixes-only album featuring: the xx, Freeland, Nalepa, Blank Blue, Portishead, Flying Lotus and many others.

LAVampires/Zola Jesus EP (2010)

So lately I've been listening to Zola Jesus a lot. I think her voice is amazing and creepy at the same time. Sure thing. So anyways Zola and LA vampires made this EP. It's a haunting, dark sound but I love it. Think it's very relaxing when I'm sketching or just chillin.

Yuima Nakazato

I've been following Yuima Nakazato for quite some time now. I saw his graduation collection in 2009 at the Arnhem Mode Biennale. Yuima Nakazato is one of the most talented designers. He is a graduate from The Royal Academy of Arts in Antwerp. He graduated in 2008 from his Master course with his graduation collection called Wooden Dimension which is truly from another dimension. You can see that the garments are wearable but can be presented as art also. Yuima Nakazato won several awards and could be seen in a lot of exhibitions. His work is truly art and was seen in many places such as Paris, Antwerp, Arnhem and Tokyo. Artists such as Lady Gaga and Fergie have performed dressed in his designs. Since I can't post every collection just check out his website and click here. I am so in love with the last collection AW 10/11 that showed during Paris fashion week.
