Selah Sue

Selah Sue was born Sanne Putseys on 3rd May 1989 in Leuven, Belgium. She is a singer-songwriter, who combines multiple musical styles like folk, soul and reggae. Selah started playing classic guitar when she was 15. When she was 17, she participated in an open mic night in ‘Het Depot’, a small venue in Leuven. Organiser of the event and successful Belgian singer Milow saw her perform and asked her to be his support act.

Her playlist consists of some covers, but mainly of her own songs. Late 2008 saw the release of the
Black Part Love EP with six of them. Thanks to multiple media and support appearances for the likes of Jamie LidellNovastar and Simply Red, Selah Sue is steadily gaining fame and respect. Check out her EP here: clickclick. So she's performing in Doornroosje in Nijmegen in december and I really really want to go! Her music just makes your body move with songs like Raggamuffin, Fyah Fyah and she was able to get a whole audience quiet with songs like Mommy and Break.

Stop me now

Omfg please shoot me now. I'm the type of girl that hates having the same hair for a long time. So i used to change it. A lot. Till that summer I got that awful Rihanna looking bob and I regretted it so much I decided to never cut my hair again. Ever since I've been waiting for it to grow back. Now it's back and I can't help but think: I need a change. Maybe in color. I fell in love with the first 3 photos of the girl with the brown, pink, blue ish hair. But I think my friends, sister and mom  will shoot me. So I'm asking you, whoever reads this. Please, stop. me. now.

Jenny Sinkaberg by Dancian for Zoo Magazine Fall

Don't you just love Zoo Magazine? I think it's one of those magazines I never regret buying or even spend my last euros on. Besides the usual shoots on the internet it just feels nice to touch the paper, smell it, cut them out and scan em in. Yeah it takes more effort cause why not get em straight off the internet? I don't know it just feels nice own this magazine and browse through old issues. It's just not the same browsing your safari. Ok so I haven't got time to buy the new issue yet so these images are from the internet. Enjoy.

Lanvin x H&M

Are you guys as excited as we are? Waiting for november 2nd cause I'm really curious about the collection! Don't know if I might get something tho. If I will I'll probably try to order something online cause I'm not a big survivor of the fittest shopper type. Good luck everyone trying to get your hands on the designer pieces.

King Charles

The cool thing about art academy is meeting new people. A girl from my class told me about how she met this amazing band in London and talked with them whole night and they we're so nice. She's going to their concert this weekend. So I downloaded (gonna buy the cd tho) some King Charles songs and fell in love with their music, lyrics, videos and charm. It's a bit like Mumford & Sons but then it's not. This lovely british indie pop folk really makes my day and puts a smile on my face so I suggest you just check them out on youtube or myspace cause this band really deserves your time.

*DIED*

I came across  *DIED* through facebook and I didn't really know what it was but then I saw these amazing jewels! As you know we loveee jewelry and crystals and we needed to share this with you guys.
